Aye, very nice job. I am a mouse painter as well, just can't seem to get the hang of the darned tablet Fabulous for a first tablet piece!

Any c/c I would give would be to sharpen the edge of shirt over his shoulders, the grey blur is a bit distracting.

This is impressive for your first piece! You said you were after suggestions so here is what I would suggest.. the fuzzy edges where the t-shirt meet the background would look better if they were cleaned up.. white is usually not a good color either for portraits as it makes the skin look washed out.. and personally I think a little texture wouldn't go astray . I hope that helps. Keep it up, wacom's aren't hard to get the hang off and I think you'll be producing some awesome work in the very near future!

Thank you all for the suggestions. I think that you are right on that the edges of the shirt need to be defined and as far as the white background ... I don't know if you start with a different color but I tried altering it and nothing looked good.

When I draw a portrait with colored pencils I NEVER use white for reasons harmoneysteel stated. Thanks again for the comments and the views.
